Director
Darren has worked in the Guernsey finance industry since 1997 and is a skilled compliance, administration and regulatory professional with experience across the fiduciary, insurance and investment sectors. Darren held a number of senior positions in the industry, including Head of Legal and Compliance for the Guernsey branch of one of Europe's leading captive insurance managers where he was responsible for the compliance, risk management and company secretarial functions and sat as an advisor to the boards of blue chip owned companies. Before this Darren spent over 10 years administering complex trust and company structures, including international trading and captive insurance companies.
Darren is a Certified Professional and Fellow of the International Compliance Association, holding the International Diploma in Compliance and the International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. Furthermore, Darren is a Certified Accounting Technician and has a Bachelor of Laws from Nottingham Law School.

Senior Manager
With more than 35 years' experience providing professional administration and services, Liz has also travelled extensively as part of her varied industry experience. Between 1997 and 2017 she was variously a Director, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary at several companies and their subsidiaries in the petroleum and energy sectors. Within her roles, Liz was responsible for establishing and running various worldwide offices and had HR responsibilities for more than 500 staff. Liz has also participated in listing some of these companies onto the London, Toronto and Australian stock exchanges and has complied with regular reporting obligations to the New York and Oslo Stock Exchanges.
Prior to joining Absolute, Liz was the group company secretary for an international group of fiduciaries for 2 years.
Liz is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Administration, holds the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the Institute of Administration and Management and the Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
